Baby Cal birth video

Emily went into labor 3 weeks earlier with baby Cal, just like her first baby, Hayes. I was so excited to get the call, "Emily is in labor, bring your camera gear!"

Emily delivered naturally and was a serious champion. I left the room just when the baby was coming out and waited outside and listened. I instantly got choked up hearing the pangs of birth and then....the first cry. I planned shots and the music to be just like Emily...calm, collected, nervous yet confident anticipation.

Baby Charlotte

Just a few photos from a newborn session I shot this month of Camille, Matt and their new baby Charlotte. I wanted to take everything out of the room to focus on the connection between baby and parents. Add some natural light and this is what you get, enjoy.

Vallis Family Temple Sealing Video Shoot

Here is the video for the Vallis Family's temple sealing. They came from California and asked me to capture this day for them.

I wanted to tell a story of a family's preparation for entering the temple, the anticipation, the excitement, the nervousness... but with a sense of peace, reverence, tranquility. I think the music worked perfectly with the story. I loved how gentle Matt and Leah were with their little boys.

Baby Ruby

One of my favorite families and previous "clients"from Oregon called me up on Wednesday and said they would be in town on Friday for their brother's wedding and were hoping I could make some time to shoot their new baby Ruby. As luck would have it (take luck!) I was shooting a family temple sealing and had an hour break next door to the wedding luncheon. Bingo.

This is little Ruby. What a gem.

Evenson Family

Meet the Evenson Family.

8 girls, 2 boys, and 2 incredible parents. They flew in from all across the nation for a sibling/parent reunion and asked if I'd come shoot some photos for them. They were the most awesome family ever! We had a blast. I had to put the camera down every 6 shots to and laugh. (That's 130 laughs people)

I want a huge family now.

Brittany Bridals

Just a few from my bridal shoot with Brittany. Isn't she lovely? Even this weird old guy that kept following us around thought so. That's what happens when you dare shoot in downtown Salt Lake City. These were at the Salt Lake Temple for the LDS church.

Allison and KC Brown Wedding

KC and Allison got married in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was a beautiful place and an even more beautiful wedding. So proud of KC and his gorgeous bride Allison.

It was windy. Very very windy. But still made out for some nice shots.

They had a ring ceremony afterwards for everyone who couldn't attend the temple ceremony.
